A little known program that American Express runs is called “Amex Offers,” which allows you to save money in the form of statement credits just by linking your American Express card(s) to your social media accounts as we wrote about previously here.
The most recent deal revealed is with JCPenney. By syncing your account, then spending $50 or more at a JCP.com or in-store, you’ll receive a $10 statement credit. Purchases must be made by 12/31/2014 (so this will be good for Black Friday).
Other deals work in the same manner, or just require you to link your American Express card to the deal by checking your
account at AmexOffers.com. While you’re at it, you can sign up for Small Business Saturday, the day after Black Friday, to save even more on holiday gifts (or lunch, if they’re a small business) with your Amex card.
Other deals on my account include BCBG.com, Madewell, Seasons 52, BirchLane.com, City Sports, Petco.com, and Reebok.com, among others. Deals will vary account-to-account!
